We can't wait to see you!

We care so deeply about healthy connections, that to avoid the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are implementing the following guidelines to worship in our building.

• We strongly encourage masks and social distancing, but they are no longer required. Masks are available if you need one. A greeter will assist you. Please be aware of the safety concerns of vulnerable people near you.

What makes us unique:

First United Methodist Church of Wolfe City prides itself on diversity and inclusivity. While we recognize that opinions differ and stances may not be the same as those around us, we recognize the glory of God and worshiping the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are more important than the differences we bring.

Our attire is reflective of who we are as individuals, and the community is strengthened by the relationships formed when we gather.

In an attempt to fill all spiritual cups, our music in worship varies from the traditional to the contemporary.

We believe Holy Scripture is inspired by God, the Almighty, yet was written by humans. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit leads us, we continue to proclaim the Good News as we are guided.

Our founding father, John Wesley, taught us a number of ways to interpret Holy Scripture and the Holy Spirit itself, leading us to understand who we are today and how we worship.

We are United Methodist

The United Methodist Church (UMC) has a rich and complex history that is being written daily.

We are connectional in nature, meaning we interact with not only the world around us, but with other churches around us, namely other United Methodist Churches.
Located in the East District of the North Texas Annual Conference, First UMC of Wolfe City is part of a global community making a difference for the Kingdom of God.
